GIZELLE MAGBUTAY

 

Hi everyone! Im Elle, 17 years of age :)

 

    I was born on the 14th day of December, year 1997.I live in Langkaan I Dasmarinas City, Cavite, with my family and other relatives. I was raised in a traditional household and we are at total of seven in the family. I have two sisters and two brothers. I have been so family oriented since the whole street i was living is full of my relatives.

    My name is Gizelle Magbutay.All of my relatives especially my cousins have the same first letter in their names which is letter "G", it turns out to be a tradition to our clan.

    I started school when i was five-years-old. Skipping the kindergarten level, I went to Grade 1 at Langkaan Elementary School, it’s a public school where we don’t just learn how to read and write but also to be a responsible children. We clean our classrooms, and even the outside surroundings, it’s like a duty for us that we must accomplish every day or else we can’t start our class. I become so distant to others that why when i was in grade four my parents and I decided to that i should try joining school activities, I then join the lyre band in our school to somehow improve my self-confidence. I’m one of the guitarists in the band and we are able to go to different schools to compete and to perform. The day i graduated elementary i was able to receive some awards that motivate me to do better in high school.

    Then I entered High school at St. Joseph Academy of Dasmarinas.My first year in second grade didn’t turn out well, i become bully and enemy of almost everyone. I was once sent to principal's office because i had a fight with a girl which is a second year that time. Until one of my favorite teacher in class told me that my grades are good, i just need to change my acts. That’s why i bring back my old self and starts to enjoy studying. I also join the CAT training when i was in 3rd year and become a CAT officer with the position of 2nd Platoon Leader. My last year in high school become so stressful because i was put into the star section, but the year ended and I made it to graduation with awards.

    Right now im a 2nd year college student at the Lyceum of the Philippines University-Cavite Campus, taking up a course of Cruise Line operation and Hotel Service.
